Job summary

Popeyes is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support daily operations, coach staff, and elevate guest experiences at our San Antonio location. You will lead shifts, manage costs, and uphold brand standards while fostering a fast-paced, inclusive culture.

The AGM will work closely with the Restaurant General Manager to drive performance, mentorship, and hospitality across all areas of the restaurant, from front counter to back of house.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of restaurant or retail management experience
• People-first leadership style with hands-on, lead-by-example approach
• Strong communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and deliver great guest experiences
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays, including various shifts

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of daily restaurant operations, from front counter to back of house
• Lead shifts with confidence to ensure speed, accuracy and top-tier guest experiences
• Coach, develop and motivate team members to hit service and performance goals
• Monitor food quality, safety standards and cleanliness
• Assist in managing labor, food costs and profitability
• Respond to guest feedback and resolve concerns with care
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, policies and safety procedures and other duties assigned
• Help with hiring, onboarding and training of new team members
