Job summary

Victra is the largest Verizon authorized retailer in the United States. As an Assistant General Manager, you’ll lead a store team, develop sales specialists, drive sales targets, and manage merchandising to create outstanding customer experiences.

You’ll coach teammates, set goals, monitor performance, handle daily operations, and step in for the General Manager when needed to keep the store running smoothly and deliver on brand standards.

Qualifications

• Background in customer service within retail, restaurant, or wireless industry preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in a Customer Service or leadership role.
• Management experience in a commissions-based sales environment.
• Proven track record of achieving challenging team and individual sales goals.
• Balanced multiple opposing priorities in a multifaceted environment.
• Set goals, evaluated performance, and developed a high performing team.
• Basic interview skills and enhanced staffing knowledge.
• High school diploma or GED.
• One or more years of customer service, preferably in a retail or sales environment.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, November through December, and/or during peak vacation periods.
• At least 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Lead your team by resolving customer issues and assisting with customer transactions.
• Take direction from store leader on day-to-day operations.
• Set goals and share daily/weekly/monthly targets with sales teams.
• Provide training and mentoring to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
• Identify selling skill gaps and build development plans to meet quotas.
• Run store operations—staffing, reporting, cash handling, and compliance.
• Monitor inventory, stock shelves, and maintain store cleanliness.
• Lead merchandising and planogram compliance per company standards.
• Complete opening and closing activities.
• Share responsibility for attaining store targets daily/weekly/monthly.
