Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services seeks an Assistant General Manager to help ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly. This role provides leadership and growth opportunities within a reputable travel plaza network.

You will supervise staff, coach shifts, uphold food safety and brand standards, handle cash, resolve customer needs, and contribute to strong team performance and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and management skills with ability to motivate and inspire a team.

• Excellent verbal and written communication with sharp business acumen.
• Ability to lift/push objects weighing over 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and align with business objectives.

• Step in to run store operations in the general manager's absence.
• Motivate staff and manage morale during challenging periods.
• Ensure adherence to brand standards, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain cash handling accuracy and daily reporting.
