Job summary

KidStrong North Scottsdale is seeking an Assistant General Manager to partner with the GM in driving exceptional center operations, sales, and coaching excellence. You will lead with energy, mentor staff, and ensure a high‑quality experience for families and children.

The role blends people leadership with business accountability: overseeing KPIs, events, scheduling, and family engagement while maintaining KidStrong standards and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Athletic or coaching background with experience coaching kids 15 months–11 years.
• Coach Certification through the HQ Training and Certification team.
• Complete training through LearnUpon as required by HQ Training and Certification team.
• Pediatric OT/PT experience is a plus but not required.
• Previous management experience is preferred but not required.
• Proficient with Google and Microsoft platforms.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Understand center KPIs and financials to inform decisions.
• Build relationships with KidStrong families and provide exceptional customer service.
• Oversee center initiatives such as maintenance, training, and brand consistency.
• Sell and schedule events (camps and parties) to maximize profitability.
• Coach students with evolving curriculum focused on Brain, Physical, and Character development for ages from walking to ~11 years.
• Record data in KS Coaches App (attendance, awards, etc.).
• Coordinate scheduling and communication via Slack and Email.
