Job summary

Courtyard West Homestead is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in running daily hotel operations across front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance, ensuring guest satisfaction and profitability.

You will lead multi-department teams, assist in managing budgets, and help implement marketing strategies to drive occupancy and revenue while upholding brand standards and a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel management or a similar role.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing multi-department teams.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, and F&B services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in overseeing all hotel operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of department managers including front desk, housekeeping, and food and beverage to maintain high standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any issues or complaints to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Support recruitment, training, and development of staff to build a skilled and motivated team.
• Manage operational budgets, analyze financial reports, and implement cost control measures to meet financial targets.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards across all departments.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop and execute strategies that increase occupancy and revenue.
• Prepare and present regular reports on hotel performance to senior management.
