Job summary

Residence Inn Brockton/Easton is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team at the newly renovated all-suite hotel. You will lead operations with a focus on guest service, ensure standards, and support the General Manager to drive performance and hospitality excellence.

Two years of related management experience and hotel brand knowledge are required, along with strong leadership. Bachelor’s in hotel management or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years related management experience and hotel brand knowledge.
• Extensive experience with rooms, housekeeping and food & beverage.
• Working knowledge of hotel operations including security and safety programs, HR relations, QA programs, long range planning.
• Bachelor’s degree in hotel management, business, or related field; or equivalent combination.
• Expertise in standard hotel management systems.
• Hands-on leadership; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility operations in the absence of the General Manager, including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, sales, F&B and HR.
• Manage front office operations and supervise front desk and F&B staff.
• Resolve guest concerns while maintaining high franchise Guest Service scores.
• Foster a positive, cooperative work environment between staff and management.
• Supervise interviewing, hiring, training, performance appraisal, rewards and coaching; plan and direct work.
• Handle administrative tasks such as reporting and inventories.
