Job summary

Buffalo Lodging Associates, LLC is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager for the Residence Inn Brockton/Easton in Brockton, MA. The role focuses on leading hotel operations, guest services and a collaborative team environment in a recently renovated all-suite property.

You will oversee daily operations, enhance guest satisfaction, and support the General Manager with strategy and staffing while upholding BLA values and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Two years related management experience and hotel brand knowledge.
• Extensive experience with rooms, housekeeping and food and beverage.
• Working knowledge of hotel operations – including security and safety programs, HR relations, quality assurance, and long range planning.
• Bachelor’s degree in hotel management, business, or related field; or equivalent education/experience.
• Expertise in standard hotel management systems.
• Hands-on leadership.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility operations in the absence of the General Manager, including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, sales, F&B and HR.
• Manage front office operations and supervise front desk and F&B staff.
• Resolve guest concerns while maintaining high franchise Guest Service scores.
• Foster a positive, cooperative work environment between staff and management.
• Supervisory duties: interviewing, hiring, training, performance appraisals, rewards and coaching; planning, directing work and addressing complaints.
• Handle administrative tasks such as reporting, inventories and accounting processes.
