Flik Hospitality Group is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Denver to oversee the account with the General Manager, ensuring budget adherence and client satisfaction. You will implement safety, sanitation and maintenance programs while fostering strong relationships with staff, guests and the client.

The role targets professional growth and aligns dining services with the facility plan. You will lead interdepartmental collaboration, monitor food costs, and drive operational excellence

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
• 5–7 years upscale food service experience, including 1 year multi-unit management.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Experience in supervisory roles, scheduling, training and coaching.
• Strong problem solving and conflict management abilities.
• Ability to multi-task and stay focused under interruptions.
• Monitor food purchasing, costs, production and inventory control.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts and financial targets.
• Knowledge of HACCP controls; proper storage and handling of food.
• Compliance with health and fire regulations in food service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong client relations.
• Time management and prioritization to meet deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Strong catering experience; ServSafe or DoH certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise according to company policies and applicable laws.
• Hire, train and coach employees and managers.
• Participate in employee meetings and training programs.
• Maintain food cost while upholding quality standards.
• Manage purchasing and inventory controls.
• Ensure HACCP controls and proper food storage.
• Perform related duties and special projects as assigned.
