Bon Appétit Management Company is hiring an Assistant General Manager for Highlands Ranch, CO. The role partners with the General Manager to uphold the approved budget, drive client satisfaction, and foster team development.

You will lead safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs, build strong relationships with employees and clients, and integrate dining services with facility operations. A strong candidate will value growth and excellence in service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
• Five to seven years upscale food service experience, including one year multi-unit management.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Supervisory, scheduling, training and coaching capabilities.
• Strong problem solving and conflict management abilities.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to interruptions while meeting deadlines.
• Monitor food purchasing, costs, production and inventory control.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts and financial targets.
• Menu planning in consultation with chefs; knowledge of cash handling and reconciliations.
• Ensure health and safety compliance with HACCP and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Carries out supervisory responsibilities per policies and laws.
• Interviews, hires, trains, coaches employees and managers.
• Participates in employee meetings and training programs.
• Maintains food cost while ensuring quality standards.
• Manages purchasing and inventory controls.
• Knowledgeable on HACCP controls and proper food storage/use.
• Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
