Job summary

Smoothie King in Carmel, IN is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to support the GM in leading the team to deliver an exceptional Guest Experience while upholding brand standards.

The AGM will oversee store operations, assist with hiring, scheduling, cash handling, food safety, marketing plans, KPI reviews, and community outreach to grow the business and keep guests coming back.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a shift lead in a restaurant or similar type of retail customer service business.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic POS and computer functions
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and the community, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to work the hours needed to run your store effectively, which might include a variety of days, evenings, weekends, holidays.
• ServSafe Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager with hiring, developing, and leading the team to provide a great guest experience.
• Use operational tools to achieve operational excellence.
• Assist in developing local store marketing plans and community outreach.
• Collaborate to deliver the best smoothies and healthy products; review KPIs and address issues with the GM.
• Manage cash activities for the store.
• Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines by team members.
• Champion and embody our culture, mission, and core values.
• Ensure store cleanliness and upkeep, including equipment maintenance.
• Drive implementation of company programs and promote proper execution of marketing strategies.
