Responsibilities

• Directly supervise Front Desk staff and department operations.
• Schedule subordinates to maintain staffing levels.
• Ensure maximum guest service through training on hotel amenities and local area.
• Assist in selecting hotel staff and complete new hire paperwork.
• Monitor Revenue Management to position the hotel as a market leader in RevPAR.
• Review employee performance and conduct disciplinary actions and terminations.
• Maintain records including cash flow sheet, accounts, receipts, and registration/reservation cards.
• Conduct staff meetings and adhere to procedures.
• Receive and resolve guest complaints and employee issues.
• Perform General Manager duties in their absence.
• Cover shifts in all departments as scheduled.
• Correspond with groups and travel agents for room rates.
• Assist with sales and marketing efforts as directed.
• Prepare the hotel's annual budget and wage surveys.
