Job summary

Border Foods LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager in Fargo, ND to lead daily restaurant operations and foster a high-performing team. You will reinforce core values, ensure safe, quality food, and deliver a friendly customer experience.

The role requires at least 1 year in food service or retail, strong leadership, and flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Eligible for bonus programs and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year restaurant or retail experience or combination with education.
• Experience with sales-building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training.
• Proven track record of successful hiring and retention.
• Ability to work early morning, evenings, late night, weekends and some holidays.
• Non-exempt management position; expected to work a minimum of 50 hours per week.
• ServeSafe Certification required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of the entire restaurant and build a strong team.
• Provide customers with great food and a friendly experience.
• Reinforce Border Foods CORE values in daily operations.
• Schedule and deploy team members to ensure standards and service levels.
• Drive fast and friendly service and maintain POS system integrity.
