Job summary

Applegreen USA is seeking an Assistant General Manager for a Burger King location. The AGM leads restaurant operations, drives profitability, and delivers guest service while managing a team of hourly staff andShift Leaders under the direction of the General Manager.

The role requires strong leadership, P&L understanding, and flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays in a fast-paced setting. Training and development of staff are key focus areas.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of P&L management and drivers of restaurant profitability.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and guest service principles.
• Availability to work flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work long or irregular shifts as needed.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory.
• Keeps operational standards and procedures.
• Ensures preventative maintenance of restaurant facility and equipment as per Company standards; interacts with external vendors as needed.
• Ensures cash control and security procedures are followed.
• Interacts positively and professionally with guests and co-workers.
• Motivates and directs team members to deliver fast, friendly service in a clean facility.
• Provides coaching to Shift Leaders and Crew Members to improve team performance.
• Directs team toward efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products for prompt delivery within speed guidelines.
• Ensures restaurant upholds operational and brand standards.
• Performs duties of Hourly Shift Leader when necessary.
