Job summary

Applegreen USA is seeking an Assistant General Manager for one of our Burger King locations. The AGM leads restaurant operations, drives profitability, and coaches Shift Leaders and Crew Members to deliver fast, friendly service in a clean facility.

Reporting to the General Manager, the AGM ensures standards, schedules, and guest satisfaction are met while managing inventory and operations across a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Strong understanding of P&L management and drivers of restaurant profitability.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Teams, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to prioritize own and others’ work and time to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and understanding of guest service principles.
• Available to work flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business.
• Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed, for proper functioning of the restaurant.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to interact in a positive and professional manner with guests and co-workers.
• Willingness to learn all areas of restaurant operations & work multiple stations.
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of previous quick service restaurant experience, experience in management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory.
• Keep operational standards and procedures.
• Ensures preventative maintenance of restaurant facility and equipment is completed in accordance with Company standards, interacting with external vendors as required.
• Ensures that restaurant follows all cash control and security procedures.
• Interact in a positive and professional manner with guests and co-workers.
• Motivates and directs team members to exceed guest expectations with accurate, fast and friendly service in a clean facility.
• Provides coaching and feedback to Shift Leaders and Crew Members to increase the restaurant team’s capabilities and raise restaurant performance.
• Directs restaurant team toward efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products for prompt delivery within established speed of service guidelines.
• Ensures that restaurant upholds operational and brand standards.
• Performs duties of Hourly Shift Leader when necessary
