Job summary

Applegreen USA is seeking an Assistant General Manager for a Burger King location as it continues a rapid growth phase. This role focuses on profitability, guest service, people development, and operations management, supporting the General Manager and directing a team of hourly staff.

The AGM will maintain standards, coach staff, and ensure efficient operations and timely delivery while upholding brand guidelines in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong understanding of P&L management and drivers of restaurant profitability.
• Proficient with MS Office (Teams, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Demonstrated leadership and guest service focus.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Able to work long or irregular shifts as needed for restaurant operations.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and with positive interactions with guests and coworkers.
• Willingness to learn all areas of restaurant operations and to work multiple stations.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of quick service restaurant experience; management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory.
• Keeps operational standards and procedures.
• Ensures preventative maintenance of restaurant facility and equipment per company standards.
• Ensures cash control and security procedures are followed.
• Interacts positively with guests and coworkers.
• Motivates and directs team to deliver fast, friendly service in a clean facility.
• Provides coaching to Shift Leaders and Crew Members to improve performance.
• Directs team toward efficient preparation and sale of products for prompt delivery.
• Upholds operational and brand standards.
• Performs duties of Hourly Shift Leader when necessary.
