Job summary

Applegreen USA is seeking an Assistant General Manager for one of our Burger King locations. The AGM will lead daily operations, focusing on profitability, guest service, and people development under the direction of the General Manager.

The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of P&L drivers, and the ability to manage a team of hourly staff in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen years old.
• Strong understanding of profitability drivers.
• Experience in quick-service or restaurant management preferred.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and guest service understanding.

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory.
• Keeps operational standards and procedures.
• Ensures preventative maintenance of restaurant facility and equipment as required.
• Ensures cash control and security procedures are followed.
• Interacts positively with guests and co-workers.
• Motivates and directs team to deliver fast, friendly service in a clean facility.
• Provides coaching to Shift Leaders and Crew Members to raise performance.
• Directs team toward efficient preparation and sale of products for prompt delivery.
• Upholds operational and brand standards.
• Performs duties of Hourly Shift Leader when necessary.
