Applegreen USA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help run day-to-day operations at our travel plazas. This role offers an entry-level path into management with hands-on training in staffing, budgeting, and delivering excellent guest service.

You will lead teams, coach shift supervisors, ensure brand standards, manage cash handling, resolve guest concerns, maintain inventory accuracy, and support store performance with clear business objectives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in quick service restaurant or similar management operations.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate business objectives.
• Supervise non-management associates, assign tasks, coach, and develop shift supervisors.
• Act in the absence of the general manager and maintain daily operations.
• Motivate staff and maintain positive morale.
• Ensure adherence to brand standards and company policies.
• Manage cash handling and daily reporting per directives.
• Address customer needs and build long-term relationships.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through spot counts and checks.
