Popeyes is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support daily operations, coach crew, and deliver legendary Southern hospitality. This role focuses on leading shifts, ensuring speed and accuracy, and driving guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

You will assist in managing labor and food costs, uphold brand standards, and contribute to hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members. A strong people-driven leadership style is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in restaurant or retail management (QSR experience is a plus!).
• People-first leadership style with a hands-on, lead-by-example approach.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• A love for fast-paced environments and great food.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Familiarity with managing food and labor costs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of daily restaurant operations, from the front counter to the back of house
• Lead shifts with confidence—ensuring speed, accuracy, and top-tier guest experiences
• Coach, develop, and motivate team members to hit service and performance goals
• Monitor food quality, safety standards, and cleanliness
• Assist in managing labor, food costs, and profitability
• Respond to guest feedback and resolve concerns with care
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, policies, and safety procedures and other duties assigned.
• Help with hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members
