The Fairfield Inn & Suites by Lafrance Hospitality in Plymouth, MA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help lead our team and ensure smooth hotel operations.

Working closely with the General Manager, you will oversee front office, housekeeping coordination, guest satisfaction, staff development, and adherence to Marriott standards. This is a full-time role with growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years hotel Front Desk experience or prior Property Management experience
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule
• Strong guest service and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee Front Office operations including guest service, brand standards, room availability, cost controls and profitability
• Coach, train, evaluate and reward team members; assist in scheduling and reviews
• Monitor guest satisfaction scores and drive improvement with the GM
• Ensure compliance with Marriott and Lafrance standards
• Greet guests and respond to inquiries and resolve issues promptly
• Manage housekeeping/laundry department and related duties
• Support brand hotel operations and maintain room readiness

Responsibilities:

• Front Office operations management to include, but not limited to, overall guest service, Brand standards, room availability, cost controls and overall profitability, systems use and management, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation.

• Monitor and encourage team members performance and assist in training needs. Actively work on coaching, evaluating, and rewarding team members. Assist in scheduling and employee reviews process.

• Monitor guest satisfaction reviews and scores with the General Manager and improve accordingly.

• Ensure compliance with Marriott and Lafrance standards.

• Greet guests and respond to guest inquiries, requests and issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner and resolves guest concerns.

• Manage the housekeeping/laundry department as well as some housekeeping responsibilities.

• Prior brand hotel experience preferred

• Minimum 1-3 years hotel Front Desk experience OR prior Property Management experience

• Detail oriented with emphasis on building guest relationships

• Must be available to work a flexible schedule
