Plamondon Hospitality Partners is seeking a Hotel Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in day-to-day hotel operations, guest satisfaction, HR, engagement, and revenue generation at our Cumberland property.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring service excellence across departments and shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in Marriott Select Service or Hilton Select Service preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a hotel team.
• Strong guest service focus with high standards of quality.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of HR, recruitment, training and labor relations.

The Assistant General Manager is responsible for assisting the General Manager in the successful oversight of all operations of the hotel property. Successful oversight includes guest satisfaction, Human Resources, associate engagement and retention, financial performance, and sales and revenue generation.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• Prior Marriott Select Service or Hilton Select Service experience preferred.
• Marriott Fosse or Hilton OnQ experience preferred.
• Exceptional customer service skills, including quality standards for service.
• Outstanding interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Possess the fundamental competencies required for accomplishing work activities with Job Specific Computer Skills, Mathematical Reasoning, Oral Comprehension, Reading Comprehension, and Writing.
• Ability to contribute both strategically and operationally to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals.
• Knowledge of principles and procedures for associate recruitment, selection, training and development, compensation and benefits, and labor relations.
• Ability to build a skilled successful team that works toward guest satisfaction and other established goals.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet goals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and other similar software packages.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, proper insurance coverage, and a reliable vehicle for business-related travel.
• Ability to perform the physical aspects of the job including sitting, bending, climbing, standing, reaching, and walking for up to 90% of the workday and lifting and carrying up to 60lbs.
