Job summary

THE ONE GROUP is seeking an Assistant General Manager in San Francisco to oversee daily operations and drive financial performance while maintaining a high-energy Vibe Dining experience.

You will lead, educate, and mentor a diverse team to deliver unforgettable guest experiences, while coordinating with Marketing, Beverage, and Ops teams to maximize profitability and guest satisfaction on a dynamic, fast-paced schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of leadership experience in high-volume, full-service restaurants (venues exceeding $7 million preferred).
• Proven ability to drive sales, manage budgets, and lead successful teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop both managers and hourly staff to deliver exceptional guest service.
• Ensure service standards and high-energy experiences align with THE ONE GROUP brand identity.
• Oversee marketing strategies, risk management, and corporate mandates.
• Maintain daily reports and communicate key updates to the General Manager.
• Recruit top talent, interview and onboard management and hourly staff.
• Coach the team to foster productivity, morale, and a collaborative culture.
