Job summary

Sonic Drive-In is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Farrport, TN, to lead daily restaurant operations and uphold brand standards. You will coach the team on training, scheduling, and performance management while ensuring inventory control and food safety compliance.

A key focus is resolving guest concerns and managing cash and expenses with the Managing Partner to grow sales and protect the Sonic brand.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Assistant General Manager in food service or retail with P&L responsibility.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to close the restaurant at least 2 nights per week.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and uphold Sonic standards and policies.
• Lead the team in training, scheduling and performance management.
• Manage inventory, food safety compliance, and customer issue resolution.
• Oversee financial responsibilities including cash handling and expense control.
• Partner with the Managing Partner to drive growth and protect brand reputation.
