Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in running daily drive-in operations with emphasis on quality food, safety, cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

You will train and coach crew members, manage staffing and inventory, handle administrative tasks, and ensure adherence to policies while delivering a positive guest experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6 months of restaurant management experience or 1 year entry level retail management experience required.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication skills; basic math, reading and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage, train, monitor and coach team members, carhops and skating carhops.
• Direct and assign staff to meet operational standards.
• Adhere to employee handbook, policies and practices.
• Perform opening and/or closing duties.
• Monitor staffing, inventory and food cost; complete weekly inventory.
• Assist in administrative duties and maintain files and records.
• Foster customer service focus and respond to guest requests.
• Report guest complaints and help resolve issues.
