Job summary

Delaware North's Patina Group in Boston, MA, is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to lead our beverage program and front-of-house operations. You will train staff, manage a high-volume restaurant, develop cocktail offerings, control costs, and partner with culinary teams to deliver exceptional hospitality.

You will work with a dynamic team to elevate guest experiences, drive beverage sales, and ensure operational excellence in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience as Assistant General Manager or Senior Restaurant Manager with beverage focus.
• ServSafe preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong financial and computer skills; experience with P&Ls.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Train, manage and oversee front-of-house staff in line with budget and policies.
• Ensure compliance with Health Department regulations and maintain a clean, safe restaurant.
• Collaborate to maximize sales, control costs, promotions, and guest satisfaction.
• Order and conduct weekly inventory of wine, liquor and other supplies.

Delaware North’s Patina Group is searching for an experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team at Banners Kitchen & Tap in Boston, Massachusetts. We are seeking a hospitality leader with a strong background in high-volume restaurant operations and a deep understanding of beverage management, cocktail culture, and bar operations. Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $78,400 - $105,800 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?

• Partner with the General Manager to train, manage and oversee front-of-house service staff, ensuring delivery of products and professional services is consistent with budget, policies, procedures, and quality
• Ensure all Health Department regulations are being adhered to and the restaurant is clean, sanitized, and safe for team members and guests
• Collaborate with leaders to maximize sales potential and profitability, including promotions, guest satisfaction, monitoring product and labor costs, and reviewing financial information
• Order and conduct weekly inventory of wine, liquor, and other supplies
• Build rapport with restaurant guests and ensure an enjoyable and memorable experience
