Job summary

Paris Baguette is seeking an Assistant General Manager in New York to support the General Manager, oversee store operations, and assist HR functions such as hiring and onboarding. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong people skills, and a focus on customer service.

You will train crew, coordinate inventory counts, manage promotions and events, and ensure compliance with company policies while delivering a welcoming bakery café experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma/GED or Some College.
• 2–4 years of food handling experience.
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills and verbal and written communication.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficient on Point of Sale systems, currently Toast.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager and assist with training and HR tasks (hiring, new hire packets).
• Help manage store operations and keep the store clean and running smoothly.
• Oversee inventory and product launches, promotions and events.
• Use WebPOS for store revenue tracking and operating performance.
