Job summary

Paris Baguette is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager and HR functions across our New York cafes. You will help train staff, oversee daily operations, and ensure the store delivers excellent customer service.

You will manage scheduling, inventory, and promotions while upholding company policies. A passion for community, teamwork, and hands-on leadership will help you thrive in a fast-paced bakery cafe environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED; some college encouraged.
• 2–4 years of food handling or retail experience.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist General Manager with store operations and training.
• Support HR functions including hiring and onboarding.
• Oversee daily store activities and ensure standards are met.
• Manage store inventory and product launches; coordinate with vendors.
