Paris Baguette North America in Crofton, MD is seeking an Assistant General Manager to join a growing bakery cafe team. This hands-on leadership role supports daily store operations, training, customer service, quality, cleanliness, inventory, scheduling, reporting, and overall cafe performance.

The right candidate will lead from the front, adapt quickly, and help stabilize a newly opened location, with potential to advance into General Manager or multi-location leadership as the business grows.

Qualifications

• Experience in leadership and operations management.
• Strong customer service focus with hospitality mindset.
• Ability to learn quickly and implement company standards.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily bakery cafe operations and ensure quality.
• Enforce company standards and operating procedures.
• Maintain high standards for customer service, cleanliness, and product quality.
• Manage POS and credit card systems during business hours.
• Oversee inventory, ordering, receiving, and waste control.
• Coordinate deliveries, merchandise, ingredients, and store supplies.
• Act as substitute for General Manager when needed.
• Complete required daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
• Train and coach employees to deliver excellent service.
• Support product launches and local marketing efforts.
• Help build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and urgency.
