Responsibilities

• Lead a team in developing and implementing property-wide strategies to meet guest, brand and ownership expectations.
• Oversee Front Desk, Housekeeping, F&B and Night Audit departments.
• Hire and manage team members demonstrating leadership, creativity and critical thinking.
• Develop knowledge of hotel staff, services, hours, room details, amenities and surroundings.
• Inspire employees to achieve operational excellence and maintain strategic retention.
• Ensure staff accountability for performance in a positive manner.
• Respond to and resolve guest concerns quickly and effectively.
• Communicate property goals clearly to drive results.
• Conduct annual performance reviews with direct reports.
• Participate in Operations meetings to ensure cross-departmental communication and guest satisfaction.
• Forecast revenue, expenses and labor, and execute plans accordingly.
• Create development plans based on strengths and career goals.

Responsibilities

• As the AGM, you will lead a team in developing and implementing property-wide strategies. Your role is pivotal in successfully implementing brand service strategy and initiatives. The ultimate objective is consistently meeting or exceeding guest, brand and ownership expectations.
• Oversee the teams in all hotel departments including: Front Desk, Housekeeping, F&B and Night Audit.
• Hire and manage team members who demonstrate strong functional expertise, creativity, entrepreneurial leadership, and critical thinking to meet the business needs of the operation.
• Develop a thorough knowledge of the hotel staff, services, hours of operation, room details, amenities and hotel surroundings.
• Inspire and motivate employees to achieve operational excellence while practicing strategic retention efforts within the hotel team.
• Ensures staff is accountable for successful performance in a positive manner
• Effectively respond to and resolve guest concerns or complaints in a timely and efficient manner.
• Communicates a clear and consistent message regarding property goals to produce desired results
• Conducts annual performance reviews with direct reports according to Standard Operating Procedures
• Participates in daily/weekly/monthly Operations meetings to ensure strong and sustained interdepartmental communications, problem resolution, and guest satisfaction
• Ensures accurate revenue, expense, and labor forecasts and execution
• Creates appropriate development plans based on individual strengths, development needs, career aspirations and abilities
