Job summary

Trinity Services Group Inc. is seeking an Assistant Food Service Director to co-manage a large jail/ correctional facility kitchen on-site. You will train staff, oversee food preparation, and ensure compliance with health codes and schedules.

You will report to a Food Service Director and lead a team to deliver safe, high-quality meals while maintaining inventory, sanitation, and regulatory standards. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and/or equivalent experience. Must be at least 18 years old.
• Two years of supervisory experience in a food service position.
• Three years of experience working in food service. ServSafe Certification.
• Experience with purchasing, inventory, ordering and receiving.
• Experience managing and applying kitchen sanitation and safety standards and methods.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and with food service management systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee guidance, training, and management of the facility food service operation.
• Hire, orient, train and issue corrective action to team members.
• Oversee quantities of food prepared and served according to the plan.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and schedule adherence.
• Ensure proper storage of food items and sanitary conditions.
• Prepare for state or other inspections and ensure compliance.
• Perform other duties as needed.
