Trinity Services Group is hiring an Assistant Food Service Director to work on-site inside a jail/correctional facility. You will partner with the Food Service Director to plan and run a large food service operation, supervising a team of food service workers and ensuring timely meal preparation and distribution.

The role emphasizes training, compliance with sanitation and safety standards, and ongoing cost control while supporting a rewarding career path and growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; age 18+.
• Two years of management or supervisory experience in food service.
• Three years of experience in food service.
• ServSafe Certification.
• Experience with purchasing, inventory, ordering and receiving.
• Knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and with food service management systems.
• Institutional food service or restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide, train, and manage facility food service operation.
• Hire, orient, train and issue corrective action to team members.
• Oversee quantities of food prepared and served per plan.
• Maintain inventory accuracy in advance preparation of menu schedule.
• Ensure proper food storage.
• Maintain serving schedules per menu specs in a safe manner.
• Ensure sanitary environment following health codes and regulations.
• Coordinate state or other inspections of food service operation.
• Other duties as determined by our needs.
