Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a Food Service Director to oversee a single-site, on-site kitchen inside a correctional facility. You will direct staff, manage food service operations, and ensure compliance with health regulations and budgetary controls.

You will report to the District Manager and lead a team to deliver safe, quality meals while maintaining inventory, payroll, and reporting integrity. A strong leader with ServSafe certification is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Five years of management or supervisory experience in a food service environment.
• ServSafe Certification required.
• Experience managing kitchen sanitation and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quantities of food prepared and served per site plan.
• Hire, orient, train and issue corrective action to team members.
• Review payroll on a bi-weekly basis.
• Ensure staff are trained to perform responsibilities safely.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and timely menu preparation.
• Ensure proper food storage and sanitation per codes.
• Maintain daily/monthly financial and activity reports.
• Coordinate with inspectors and ensure compliance.
