Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a Food Service Director to oversee a stand-alone kitchen inside a correctional facility, reporting to the District Manager. The role includes directing staff, managing food service operations, and ensuring compliance with health codes.

You will lead a team of cooks and food service workers, handle budgeting and payroll reviews, and maintain inventory and reports while delivering quality service in a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Five years of management or supervisory experience in a food service environment.
• ServSafe Certification.
• Knowledge of food handling regulations and sanitation standards.
• Basic accounting and math skills for reports.
• Institutional food service or restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee food quantities prepared and served per site plan.
• Hire, orient, train, and take corrective action for staff.
• Review payroll on a bi-weekly basis.
• Ensure staff trained to perform responsibilities safely.
• Maintain inventory and proper food storage.
• Maintain sanitary environment per health codes.
• Maintain onsite reports of daily and monthly financial and production activity.
• Support state inspections and other audits.
• Other duties as needed by the site.
