Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a Food Service Director to lead a stand-alone kitchen within a correctional facility. You will direct operations, oversee food preparation, inventory, and staff management, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

This onsite role requires leadership and strong organizational skills. You will report to the District Manager and guide a team of Food Service Workers and cooks while upholding policy, training, and performance expectations in a secure

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 18+ years old.
• Five years of management or supervisory experience in food service.
• ServSafe Certification required.
• Experience with kitchen sanitation and safety standards.
• Knowledge of basic accounting for reports.
• Institutional food service or restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee food preparation and service per site plan.
• Hire, orient, train, and issue corrective actions to staff.
• Review payroll bi-weekly; manage budgeting and costs.
• Ensure staff trained for safety and sanitation compliance.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and menu schedules.
• Ensure proper storage and quality of food items.
• Maintain sanitary environment per Health Dept. codes.
• Prepare and maintain daily/monthly onsite reports.
• Coordinate with inspectors and compliance agencies.
• Other duties as required by management.
