Job summary

Trinity Services Group Inc. is seeking a Food Service Director to run a single-site correctional facility kitchen. You will manage the operation, oversee staff, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards while reporting to the District Manager.

This onsite role requires strong leadership and a focus on quality service. The ideal candidate has extensive food service management experience, ServSafe certification, and the ability to adapt to changes in a fast-paced, secure environment.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of management or supervisory experience in a food service environment.
• ServSafe Certification is required.
• Experience applying kitchen sanitation and safety standards.
• Knowledge of basic accounting and mathematical reporting.
• Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quantities of food prepared and served per site plan.
• Hire, orient, train and issue corrective action to team members.
• Review payroll on a bi-weekly basis.
• Ensure staff are trained for safe job performance.
• Maintain inventory accuracy for planned menu schedules.
• Ensure proper food storage and sanitation.
• Maintain quality standards and health department compliance.
• Prepare and maintain on-site daily/monthly production and financial reports.
• Handle state or other inspections of the operation.
• Perform other duties as needed.
