Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Director in Illinois to assist the Program Director with hiring, training, supervision, and weekly performance reporting. The role emphasizes delivering client services while maintaining compliance with relevant requirements.

Required experience in youth services and budget management; leadership and strong communication are essential. Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred; travel is involved across the county-area served.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree generally preferred.
• Three to five years related experience in youth services, juvenile justice, community programs, or program development.
• Strong supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to manage budgets and meet deadlines.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Program Director in hiring and training staff.
• Coordinate client staffing and manage delivery of client service hours.
• Ensure compliance with YAP and referring authority requirements.
• Provide supervision and communicate weekly performance to Director.
• Apply trauma-informed care and youth development principles in program delivery.
