Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. in Hope, AR is seeking an Assistant Director to support the Program Director with hiring and training staff, supervising personnel, and reporting weekly performance.

The role requires coordinating client staffing to maintain service hours while ensuring compliance with YAP and referring authorities. The ideal candidate brings a background in child welfare or youth services, licensing in AR, and strong budgeting and planning skills; bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree generally preferred; commensurate experience acceptable.
• Required AR licensure (LMSW, LCSW, LAC, LPC)
• At least one year managing personnel and budgets
• Experience with at risk youth, probation, court liaison a plus
• Knowledge of database, spreadsheet, and word processing software

Responsibilities

• Perform intakes and coordinate client staffing to deliver weekly service hours.
• Ensure compliance with YAP and referring authority requirements.
• Provide supervision and support to staff; be available for families and group work.
• Liaise with child welfare, mental health, and juvenile justice systems.
• Proactive planning and strong communication are essential.
