Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. in Los Angeles is seeking a Program Director to oversee the Los Angeles County Program, supervising staff, managing budgets, and ensuring contract compliance to deliver high-quality services to youth and families.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree with commensurate experience.
• 3+ years in youth services or community-based programs.
• 1+ year in supervisory or program management role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365; experience using an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system is a plus.
• Ability to manage budgets and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care, positive youth development, and community-based alternatives to out-of-home placements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee intake, assessment, and development of individualized service plans using a strength-based, wraparound model.
• Monitor service delivery and ensure alignment with program goals and contractual obligations.
• Cultivate relationships with referral sources, community partners, and stakeholders.
• Recruit, train, and supervise direct service and administrative staff.
• Provide staff development and training sessions as required by YAP, Inc. policies.
• Lead staff development, training sessions, and team/staff meetings.
• Assist staff in creative problem solving and securing needed resources for participants and families.
• Ensure timely submission of reports, billing, and documentation.
• Manage the local program within budget parameters.
• Identify opportunities for program growth and innovations.
