Job summary

Institute for Community Living Inc. in Bronx, NY seeks an Associate Program Director to oversee clinical services within residential mental health programs.

You will support the Program Director, supervise staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate intake, assessments, and service planning for residents. The role involves leading a multidisciplinary team, guiding treatment teams, and maintaining program quality while ensuring safety and therapeutic environments for residents and staff

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or other human services field.
• At least two years of experience working with individuals with serious mental illness.
• At least one year of supervisory or administrative experience preferred.
• QMHS qualifications as stated in Part 593 of OMH regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight and ensure services meet regulatory guidelines.
• In the Program Director’s absence, direct clinical treatment services and supervise intake and assessments.
• Coordinate treatment teams and communicate with residents, families, and staff.
• Manage program operations, including budget, staffing, and regulatory reporting.
• Foster community relations and ensure quality assurance and improvement.
