Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking an Assistant Director to help run a licensed child care facility responsibly and professionally. The role focuses on safe operations and supporting the School Director in delivering high-quality social, physical, and intellectual growth for children.

In the Director's absence, the Assistant Director steps up to manage daily activities, ensures compliance with state licensing, and supports staff development to create a caring, educational environment for families

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have at least 2 years of experience as an Assistant Director in a licensed child care facility.
• Associates Degree in ECE or related field is preferred.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.
• Must have the Georgia 40 hour course completed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the school operates in a safe, effective manner under the School Director.
• Assist in promoting social, physical, and intellectual growth of children.
• In the Director's absence, assume sole responsibility for the school.
• Promote a positive image of the company and collaborate with the team to serve the community.
