Job summary

Learning Care in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Assistant Director to help ensure safe, effective operation of the school and support the School Director. In the Director’s absence, this role has sole responsibility for the site and works to promote children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of assistant director experience in a licensed child care facility, an Associate's Degree in ECE or related field, and the North Carolina director credential

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of assistant director experience in a licensed child care facility.
• Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field) preferred.
• Must meet state education requirements and NC director credential level 1–3.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the school operates safely and in line with licensing standards.
• Promote social, physical, and intellectual growth of children.
• In the Director's absence, assume sole responsibility for the school and operations.

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
