Job summary

Learning Care is seeking an Assistant Director to ensure the safe, effective operation of the school alongside the School Director. In the Director’s absence, you will assume sole responsibility and help promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.

The role emphasizes accountability, responsibility, creativity, and teamwork to maintain a high standard of care and educational quality for the communities we serve.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have at least 2 years of Assistant Director experience in a licensed child care facility.
• Associates Degree in ECE or related field is preferred.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support the School Director in safe, effective operation of the school.

• Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.
