Job summary

Learning Care Group in Charlotte, NC seeks an Assistant Director to partner with the School Director to ensure the safe, effective operation of the school and to promote lifelong learning for children. This role shares responsibility for daily management and program quality under state licensing rules.

You will assist in recruiting and retaining qualified staff, maintaining compliance, and supporting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children, while upholding the company’s safety

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of assistant director experience in a licensed child care facility.
• Associates Degree in ECE or related field is preferred.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.
• Must have the North Carolina director credential level 1, 2, or 3.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director.
• In the Director’s absence, assume sole responsibility for the school.
• Support social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
