Job summary

Learning Care Group seeks an Assistant Director to help run a licensed child care facility. You will work with the School Director to ensure a safe, high-quality educational environment and to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth in children.

In the Director's absence, you will assume full responsibility and lead staff development, parent communication, and compliance with state standards, while supporting the company’s community presence and profitability goals.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• At least 2 years of Assistant Director experience in a licensed child care facility.
• Associate Degree in ECE or related field is preferred.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.
• Georgia 40 hour director course completed is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director.

Job description

The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, to achieve Learning Care Group’s safety vision. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. The Assistant Director assists in the promotion of the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
