Job summary

The Children's Courtyard is hiring an Assistant Director to help run a safe, engaging preschool environment during the school day. You will work with the School Director to ensure quality care, compliance with licensing standards, and daily operations that support children's growth and families' needs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have at least 2 years of experience as an Assistant Director in a licensed child care facility.
• Associates Degree in ECE or related field is preferred.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.
• Must have the Georgia 40 hour course completed.

• Oversee safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director.
• In the Director’s absence, assume sole responsibility for the school.
• Promote social, physical and intellectual growth of children.

The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, to achieve Learning Care Group’s safety vision. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school.
