Job summary

One Hope United in Tampa, FL seeks an Assistant Director of Programs to oversee Case Management Services and coordinate day-to-day operations and financial management for a defined geographic area. The role may involve supervising staff and guiding case managers to ensure high-quality services.

Under supervision, you will participate in community collaborations, monitor expenditures, and provide technical support to supervisors.

Qualifications

• MA/MS degree from an accredited college or university (preferred).
• 4 years in Human Services with 3 years of direct experience with children and families (required).
• 2 years' experience of successful administration and supervision (required).
• State of Florida; Child Welfare Certification (required).

Responsibilities

• Participate on community/regional committees, workgroups, and collaborative teams as required within the region.
• Monitor program expenditures to ensure costs are within budget parameters.
• Provide day-to-day support and technical assistance to case management supervisors to improve service quality and meet performance targets.
• Oversee case management activities in the Lead Agency area in the supervisor's absence.
• Supervise case management supervisors and ensure timely court document submissions.
• Interact with community and professional leaders to build relationships and networks within service areas.
• Handle special projects and stay informed of professional trends and relevant associations.
