Job summary

Services for the UnderServed seeks an Assistant Program Director to supervise case management and program services for adults experiencing homelessness and mental illness. In the Program Director’s absence, you will oversee all staff with the Regional Director.

You will ensure trauma-informed, person-centered plans and coordinate with external agencies. Requirements include a Bachelor's in Human Services or related field and two years of supervisory experience; master's degree and LMSW/LCSW/LMHC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field required.
• Minimum of two years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with homelessness and mental illness population.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of all program staff regarding case management and services.
• Audit consumer progress notes and service plans with clinical staff.
• Ensure consumer plans reflect agency standards and trauma-informed care.
• Coordinate with external agencies for client placement and services.
• Assist in onboarding and transitioning new tenants into the program.
• Lead crisis intervention and report to leadership and stakeholders as needed.
• Oversee facilities compliance with HUD, OMH and S:US standards.
• Provide emergency coverage and represent the agency in community groups.
• Conduct supervisory meetings and maintain documentation.
