Reporting to the Director of Nursing, you will mentor staff, develop evidence-based practices, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster collaboration across departments to enhance care quality and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• RN license active in state.
• 2+ years of leadership experience in nursing (preferably skilled nursing).

Responsibilities

About the Role:

As an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and guidance to our nursing team, ensuring the highest level of care and quality of life for our residents. Your duties will include:

• Leadership and Management: Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Nursing Practice: Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement evidence-based practices, policies, and procedures.
• Staff Development: Mentor and coach nursing staff to promote professional growth and development.
• Quality Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance the quality of care and patient satisfaction.
• Communication: Serve as a liaison between nursing and other departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a skilled nursing facility.
• Certifications: Current RN license with active certification in a relevant specialty.
