Neffsville Nursing and Rehab is a skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing exceptional, resident-centered care. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team and support excellence in clinical care, staff oversight, and regulatory compliance.
The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) supports the Director of Nursing (DON) in overseeing daily nursing operations and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This leadership role plays a critical part in maintaining high standards of care, staff performance, and clinical outcomes.
Assist in planning, organizing, and directing the overall operations of the Nursing Service Department
Support the DON in maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and survey readiness
Review nursing documentation to ensure accurate and timely charting of treatments, medications, and resident conditions
Conduct daily rounds to observe resident care, engage with nursing staff, and address concerns proactively
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team regarding resident care and condition changes
Assist the Resident Assessment/Care Plan Coordinator with MDS assessments, RAPs, triggers, and care plan revisions
Support staff education, competency validation, and performance improvement initiatives
Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) activities
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania
Minimum of one year of RN leadership experience in a long-term care setting
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Demonstrated commitment to quality care and regulatory compliance
