Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive financial aid counseling to students and families.
• Delivers student-centered customer service and assists students and families in navigating financial circumstances.
• Verifies eligibility and awards federal, state, and institutional financial aid.
• Manages financial aid processing for assigned student populations: verification, awarding, revisions.
• Uses the College's financial aid management system and federal systems for verification and COD reporting.
• Reviews student accounts to identify and resolve disbursement issues.
• Educates students and families on FAFSA, grants, loans, and satisfactory academic progress.
• Maintains accurate student records for regulatory compliance and audits.
