Job summary

Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia is seeking a Director of Financial Aid to lead the Office of Financial Aid, ensuring accurate administration of federal, state, institutional, and private aid programs.

Reporting to the Vice President of Enrollment, Marketing & Communications, you will build compliant processes, mentor staff, and collaborate with Admissions, Finance, and IT to advance affordability and student success.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and staff oversight experience in financial aid operations.
• Deep knowledge of federal and state financial aid programs and compliance requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to explain complex aid info clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure accuracy in data and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of the Office of Financial Aid, including staff supervision, training, performance evaluation, and professional development.
• Direct the administration, awarding, disbursement, and reconciliation of federal, state, institutional, and private financial aid programs.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and institutional regulations, including Title IV requirements, SAP, verification, and R2T4.
• Oversee reports like FISAP, IPEDS, audits, and other federal/state reporting; collaborate with Admissions and Finance to support enrollment and affordability.
